At Aldabra Academy, Kindergarten is a calm and joyful space where children begin their educational journey with curiosity at the center. Our program combines the structure and security of foundational literacy and numeracy learning with the flexibility and magic of inquiry-based exploration.
Even in an online setting, we encourage students to look up, look out, and look within—to notice the world around them and to ask big questions.
What to Expect:

🌿 Nature-Based Learning Prompts
Your child will be guided to explore their backyard, a local park, or even the changing weather outside their window. Each week, they’ll complete simple outdoor activities that help them connect with the natural world. -
🧠 Core Skill Development (Literacy, Numeracy, Social-Emotional)
We provide short, clear lessons in letter sounds, early reading, counting, patterns, and problem-solving—designed to be engaging, playful, and accessible for young learners. -
🎒 Mini Learning Adventures
Each unit follows a theme like “All About Birds,” “Weather Wonders,” or “My Five Senses.” These are presented as “Learning Adventures”—complete with songs, stories, simple experiments, and creative activities that can be done at home with minimal materials. -
💬 Storytelling and Sharing
Your child will be invited to record their voice, draw pictures, or upload photos of their work. Sharing isn’t just about showcasing—it’s about building confidence, communication skills, and community. -

The program is asynchronous—meaning your child can work through activities at their own pace, with your support and our guidance. We offer optional live sessions for storytime and weekly meet-ups (virtually). -
